Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile. I’m Olesia, a Senior UI/UX Designer based in Sydney, Australia, and I bring over a decade of experience in web design to the table. I’m thrilled to have found my passion early in my career and continue to be energized by the ever-evolving world of design.

My career has offered me diverse experiences, from working with an email marketing agency and an engineering startup to enhancing the marketing strategies of a security equipment company and now contributing to the success of Macquarie Bank. Each role has enriched my skills and deepened my appreciation for user-centric design.

What truly excites me is the art of problem-solving. I enjoy delving into challenges, identifying key issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to find the best solutions. Working closely with development teams, I tackle constraints to deliver outcomes exceeding expectations and serving business and user needs.

As someone with ADHD and dyslexia, I’ve developed a knack for creative and practical problem-solving from a young age. Navigating various challenges, including immigration, has made me adaptable and open to new experiences. This positive outlook and resilience drive my approach to design and innovation.

I am responsible for the entire visual language of the company. I redesigned the logo, website, social media, and created a style guide. My current main project is to create a dashboard and help clients manage their devices from ETM Pacific.

With me, the company has become more recognizable and has its own style that does not depend on the parent company.

  • The project: a real-time application, accumulating information about property listings with IPO offering, for property investors wishing to open an IPO and sell shares and those who wanted to buy shares (both organizations and general public).

  • The application included a catalogue of property listings with information on shares, client cabinet area and a dashboard with real time data on shares purchase/selling.

  • Product concept development: Worked with potential clients (property owners) to ensure the best presentation of their property portfolio through visual and design aids (print and digital). Liaised closely with the business consultants and clients during the development phase. Created the web-site concept, logo and web app mock-ups and functioning prototype using the InVision platform.

  • Created user personas, by utilising the real-time board web app, interacting with the client for efficient information exchange. Designed characters incorporating different demographic aspects such as age, social-economic status, education.

  • Design of the MVP (minimum viable product). Conducted research, participated in workshops with the client and the BA team. Defined the features to be included in the MVP version of the product, front-end elements.

  • Created the UI-kit using the material design system UI components to save time on the front-end development.

  • Developed the product visual style including website, logo, basic guidelines on fonts/icons/photos using Sketch and Adobe Illustrator. Worked on the stock photos doing retouching with Adobe Photoshop.

Responsible for designing B2B service for customer loyalty system in retail (big data analytics, AI for Big Data, managing loyalty cards):

  • Liaised with business analysts to validate ideas, created personas, story maps, CJM (Customer Journey Mapping) and presented mock-ups to senior stakeholders.

  • Designed the project architecture including the concept and story boards, interviewed users, translated requirements into technical specs. Performed corridor testing and demos for customers.

The branch of 'Internet Proekti', eDM service using Sendsay product.
  • (2014) Initiated complete redesign of the Sendsay tool (an Electronic Direct Mail marketing tool for B2B clients), that later became the main product, as provided the company customers with an option to create and design eDM by using templates, blocks and buttons, with zero coding necessary. Used Adobe Photoshop (concept creation) and Adobe Illustrator (icons, infographics).

  • Created the official style guide for the company.

  • Contributed in design and development all marketing collateral for exhibitions and industry events design, handled production orders for materials, site services, ensured the expenses remained within the budget constraints.
